About This Blog
To introduce this new blog, I’ve decided to post the blog intro text and profile, to give readers who don’t visit the site an idea of what this feed is about and who is writing it. After this, I am going to post a few things from my private journal archives (in subsequent posts). First of all, to everyone who’s added us: Thank you! and welcome. Here we go… forgive me as I refer to myself (Sheta) in the third person.
Welcome to the strangest, most unusual blog you’ll probably ever read.
In 1994, Sheta Kaey found herself presented with the unlikely gift of a ‘spirit lover.’ After a lifetime of involvement in the occult for the distinct purpose of gaining spiritual growth, Sheta and her long-time friend and then roommate, Xanquela, initiated a self-study program into hermetic Qabalah. A lifelong, off and on user of the talking Ouija® board, Sheta finally, in late 1993, succeeded in contacting a true guide who demonstrated his ability to inspire results. Half a year of study later, the guide introduced a new spirit, Meridjet, to her.
Evidence of a connection was immediate and the impact of the meeting was intense. Over the next two years, Sheta struggled with doubts for her sanity, and with the support of Xanquela was able to utilize the relationship with Meridjet to the best of her ability at the time. In April of 1996, Meridjet left.
Sheta assumed this separation was permanent, but in April of 1999, three years later, Meridjet returned. He had changed, and become somehow more, what Sheta likes to call “Meridjet10.” From that time on, he has remained with her, teaching her to perceive him more clearly and unassisted (no more Ouija® board). He has taken over the guide duties and increased the intensity of her learning, to the degree that onlookers at times will question his motives. He specializes in what has come to be called “ordeal work,” and is happy to accept the occasional extra student, who then find their lessons intertwined with Sheta’s, to everyone’s benefit. He’s a tough teacher: some people can hack it, and some people can’t.
This blog will contain the story of this relationship and the various developments of those involved. Launching January 2008, the blog will contain both current information and archival history. Subscribe to the feed and watch this journey unfold.
